Why?

After years of hard organizing, direct action, and a strike, we won a union. We made serious gains in our contract, including protections against discrimination and harassment, annual pay raises, health insurance and university services fee rebate, and a grievance procedure to protect against various forms of harassment, among other benefits.

But student workers deserve more. With our contract up for renegotiation, we have the opportunity to build on these gains and force the University to live up to its founding values, to create a new New School. The more of us who sign up, the more power we have, the more change we stand to create.

How?

1. Download the Union Card Below.

2. Fill out the entire card using a PDF editing software of your choice, making sure to sign the middle and bottom parts. Or, print the card, fill it out, and scan or take a clear photograph of it.
